Ask. Find. Book.

CORA helps you ask a health question, find a clinic and request an appointment. Type, or just speak.

CORA gives general health guidance only. It does not diagnose illness.

Illustrations of three CORA screens: a conversation by voice note, the home screen, and an appointment request waiting for the clinic to confirm.

Getting care should not start with guesswork. CORA shows which clinics offer the care you need and when, and lets you ask for an appointment from wherever you are.

How it works

Three things, made simple.

Ask a health question.

Type your question, or hold the button and say it. CORA answers in plain English and tells you when you should see a health worker.

  • Send a voice note if you prefer not to type.
  • Have answers read out to you.
  • If it sounds urgent, CORA tells you to get help now instead of booking.
Ask CORACORA
What should I bring to my first antenatal visit?
Bring your ID card, your clinic book if you have one, and a list of any medicines you take.

If you have bleeding, severe pain or a bad headache, do not wait for your visit. Go to the nearest hospital.

General health information from CORA. It is not a diagnosis.

Find a clinic.

Choose your region and the care you need. CORA shows the health facilities that offer it, with clinic days, hours and how to get seen.

  • Search by region, community or service.
  • See which clinics need a referral first.
  • Clinic days and hours come from the facilities themselves.

  • Choose how the clinic contacts you: by phone or on WhatsApp.
  • Change or cancel your request at any time.

Made for everyone

Easy to use, even if reading is hard.

CORA is designed with people who have disabilities, older people, and people who find reading difficult.

  • Speak instead of typing

Every question can be a voice note.

  • Listen instead of reading

Answers and instructions can be read out loud.

  • Pictures with every option

Large buttons, clear icons and short words on every screen.

  • Works with assistive tools

Built to work with screen readers, zoom and larger text settings.

Safety and trust

Health help you can trust.

  • In an emergency, do not use CORA.

Call [emergency number] or go to the nearest hospital. If you describe an emergency, CORA tells you to get urgent help.

  • Guidance, not a diagnosis

CORA uses AI to give general health information approved by [the Ministry of Health clinical team]. It does not diagnose illness or change your medicines.

  • Your information is protected

CORA follows Guyana’s Data Protection Act 2023. Health workers see only what they need to care for you. Read the privacy notice.

  • Part of the public health system

CORA is run by [Publishing entity legal name], Government of Guyana. It connects to CORTEX, the national digital health platform used by health facilities, so clinics receive your request directly.

Questions.

Is CORA a doctor?

No. CORA gives general health information and helps you find and book care. It does not diagnose illness, prescribe medicines or replace a health worker.

Does CORA cost anything?

[Confirm: CORA is free to use. Normal data charges from your mobile provider may apply.]

What do I need to sign up?

An email address and a password, and a phone number so clinics can reach you. To request an appointment you can scan your ID card, passport or driver’s licence to fill in your details.

Can I use CORA if I find reading hard?

Yes. You can ask questions by voice note, have answers read out to you, and every option has a picture next to it.

Who can see my information?

The health workers involved in your care see what they need to look after you. CORA does not sell your information or use it for advertising. Read the privacy notice.

Is my appointment confirmed when I send a request?

Not yet. Your request shows as “Pending confirmation” until the clinic confirms a time. CORA tells you when it is confirmed, and the clinic contacts you the way you chose.

Which clinics are on CORA?
